This is Bungalow 9. It's at Fort Spinney in Yaverland. A bungalow, so everything's on one level. The garden out the back is fenced in and private.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The four star rating means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The doorways are wide enough for a wheelchair and there's a walk-in shower in one bathroom.
Yaverland Beach is a couple of minutes walk away, just past the site entrance. It's a long, sandy beach, good for swimming. You can walk all the way along the sand to Sandown or Shanklin if you want. The red cliffs at the end are where people find fossils sometimes.
There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile up the road. The main shop is in Sandown, which is just over a mile. That's where you'll find the pier and the amusements. You can also get to the Dinosaur Isle museum from here, or the Isle of Wight Zoo.
If you fancy a day out, Osborne House is about a 30 minute drive. The Needles at Alum Bay are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. The whole island is easy enough to get around.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
