Bungalow 9 is in Yaverland. It's one of a row of holiday bungalows called Fort Spinney. The beach is just over the road, less than a minute's walk. You've got an enclosed garden out the back with a table and chairs.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything is on the ground floor, so it's all flat inside. It's got a 4 Star rating. The doors are wide enough for a wheelchair and there's a walk-in shower. It's clean and modern.
The beach there is sandy and good for swimming. You can see the red cliffs. If you're interested in fossils, the Dinosaur Isle museum is a few minutes walk away. They do guided fossil walks on the beach.
If you turn left and walk along the seafront, you'll get to Sandown in about ten or fifteen minutes. It's a classic seaside town with a pier, amusements, and that sort of thing. If you turn right and walk, you'll go towards Shanklin. It's a nice flat promenade walk.
For days out, Osborne House is about half an hour's drive. The Needles is a bit further, maybe forty minutes. The island is good for cycling if you bring your bikes. There's a local pub and restaurant within walking distance, and a shop about a mile away.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. No pets allowed.
