Fair Isle Holiday Cottages - Hill Top Barn
This is Hill Top Barn, one of our places at Fair Isle. It's up on the outskirts of Newport, so you get a good view over the town and the downs from the garden. It's a barn conversion, done a few years back.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well finished. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs. Speaking of which, we take up to two pets.
The place is good for walking or cycling straight out. There are bridle paths down into Newport and over to Arreton. The bus stop for Newport and Ryde is about five minutes' walk away. For a beach, you'd want to drive. The closest is about seven miles.
You're pretty central here. A short drive gets you to a lot of the main things. Arreton Barns is nearby for crafts and food. The Garlic Farm is down the road. Robin Hill Adventure Park is about ten minutes away. For history, Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle are within half an hour. The Needles and Alum Bay are about a forty minute drive.
In the barn you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking for one car right outside. There's a BBQ in the garden too.
