Oak Barn - Fernhill Farm
Oak Barn is one of four barns here at Fernhill Farm. It's not a working farm anymore, it's quiet. You're in Wootton, about a ten-minute drive from Ryde.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and a bathroom each. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner in the living area, which is nice when it's cooler. The ceiling is high with old beams.
You can get outside from the living room through double doors. There's a patio with a table and chairs, then an enclosed garden. It's private. We allow up to three dogs.
Wootton village has shops and places to eat, it's very close. Ryde is the main town nearby. It's got a long sandy beach, the usual shops, and places for food. The Island's coastal path is easy to pick up from there.
Within half an hour you can drive to most places on the Island. Osborne House is about twenty minutes away, that's English Heritage. The needles are at the far west, about forty minutes. For walking, National Trust Isle of Wight has good information.
In terms of what's here: there's WiFi, parking right outside, a washing machine, and an enclosed garden. Bedding is included.
