High Tide
High Tide is in Whippingham, at Island Harbour Marina. It's a terraced cottage right on the marina, so you're looking out at boats on the River Medina.
It sleeps five in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well kept.
There's a restaurant on the marina about a five minute walk away. It's good for a meal. The local shop and pub are in Whippingham village, also about a five minute walk.
The location is quiet. There's a nature trail around the marina if you want to stretch your legs. You can walk into Newport along the riverside path, which takes about half an hour. Newport has the usual shops and supermarkets.
For a day out, Cowes is a ten minute drive. It's the sailing town. Osborne House is about fifteen minutes away. Further afield, you've got places like The Needles and Carisbrooke Castle, all within a half hour drive.
The facilities are all there: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding is included. No pets, sorry.
