Cleave Wood Plot 8 is a new house near Bideford. It's on what used to be a holiday park, so the other plots are there too, but it feels quite private. It's detached and you park right next to it.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a high standard, very clean and well-fitted. Everything feels new.
The layout is upside-down. The bedrooms are on the ground floor. Two have en-suites with double showers, which is useful. The main bathroom has a bath. Upstairs is the living area. It's all open plan, kitchen, dining, sofas. There's a second smaller living room off to the side as well.
Both living rooms have a wood burner. The doors from the main room open onto a big terrace. The view is over the countryside. It's a good spot in the evening.
Bideford is a few minutes' drive for shops and supermarkets. The coast is close. Instow has a long sandy beach, good for families. Westward Ho! is a bit further, about ten minutes by car. For surf, you'd go to Croyde, Saunton or Woolacombe. They're all within twenty to thirty minutes.
The Tarka Trail is right there for cycling or walking. You can hire bikes locally. For a day out, a boat to Lundy Island from Bideford is different. Exmoor National Park is about half an hour's drive for proper walking.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, parking, bedding and towels are included. You can bring two pets.
