Fairways Retreat
This is Fairways Retreat, it's in Northam in Devon. It's a detached house, at the end of a quiet little cul-de-sac.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is an ensuite. It's upside-down, so the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area is upstairs. That means you get a better view from the living room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio, a bit of decking, and a raised lawn. Good if you've got a dog. Parking for two cars on the drive.
You're just under a mile from Westward Ho! beach. It's a big, sandy beach, good for surfing. Appledore is really close too, that's the fishing village. Nice for a walk and a coffee.
The house is right next to the Royal North Devon Golf Club. It's the oldest golf course in England. You can see it from the upstairs windows. The South West Coast Path runs alongside it, so the walking is good from the doorstep.
There's a local pub within a mile. Westward Ho! has shops and places to eat. Bideford is about ten minutes by car, Barnstaple is maybe twenty minutes.
For facilities, you've got WiFi, a Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust sites in North Devon are worth a look, like Arlington Court. The North Devon National Landscape site has good information on the area.
