Drift Away is in Westward Ho!, right on the village green. It's a holiday apartment. You're above ground floor level, so there are stairs up to the front door.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and modern. The living area has a high window that lets in a lot of light. The floors are wood throughout. There's full central heating and Wi-Fi.
Two bedrooms at the front look straight out to sea. The third bedroom is at the back and has bunk beds, so it's good for kids. The shower is a stand-up one.
The beach is about two minutes' walk away. It's a proper sandy beach, good for swimming. The coastal path runs along here too, for walks. There's a pub, some cafes, and a few shops all on the green, literally steps from the door.
Bideford is two miles drive if you need a big supermarket. The Tarka Trail starts there, which is good for a flat bike ride or walk. Clovelly is about a 20 minute drive, that's the historic fishing village with the steep cobbled street. Hartland Point is similar distance for more dramatic cliffs. If you fancy a day out, Dartmoor is under an hour's drive.
Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
For planning: National Trust Devon and North Devon National Landscape.
