Bradley Hall is in Birchover, which is a village in the Peak District. It's a big, old Georgian house from 1774 that's detached. You've got the garden to yourselves. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's a listed building, so it's got some old features. Things like flagstone floors, fireplaces, and the original windows. They do mean the rooms are darker than a modern house, and some of the floors are uneven. There are stairs from the kitchen down to the pantry, so watch your step.
The kitchen has a big gas range cooker. The dining table seats eight. Outside, there's a patio with a table for eight, a BBQ, and a fire pit that you can use as a pizza oven. There's also a decked area with an eight-seater hot tub.
There are two pubs in the village, both within walking distance. Excellent walking starts right from the doorstep, as the village is surrounded by rocks and tors. For a good walk, you can head straight up onto the moors.
Chatsworth House is about a 20-minute drive. Haddon Hall is about the same. For a longer trip, Hardwick Hall is worth it. Carsington Water is about 15 minutes away if you want sailing or windsurfing.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot and highchair if you need them, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
