Priest Hill is in Alport, Derbyshire. It's part of a place called Harthill Hall, which is an old estate with a few cottages in these historic buildings around a courtyard. You share the grounds with a few other holiday lets.
The cottage sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. That means it's nice and comfortable, but not over the top. It's an old stone building, so the ceilings are low in some doorways. The windows are thick and the walls are too. It stays cool in summer.
You get access to a shared indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna, which is on site. There's also a games room. Booking for the pool is recommended when you arrive.
The cottage has a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. There's also an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
You're in the Peak District National Park. There's a local pub about a mile away. For a shop you need to drive to Bakewell, which is about three and a half miles.
Bakewell is a good market town. Chatsworth House is very close, maybe a ten minute drive. Haddon Hall is even closer. For walking, you're right on the edge of the White Peak. You can start from the door.
