Netherwood is an apartment in Bakewell. It's on the top floor, so you'll have to walk up a flight of stairs outside to get to the front door. There's parking on site.
It sleeps six, which is in two bedrooms and then a sofa bed in the living room. Two bathrooms, one is en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen leads out onto a garden area that's just for you.
You're in the middle of Bakewell. The town's known for the Bakewell Pudding, and it has a market. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about 200 yards away.
For walking, the Monsal Trail is right there. The Peak District National Park site has maps and ideas. Chatsworth House is a 15-minute drive. Haddon Hall is about the same. Castleton and its caverns are about half an hour away.
Facilities wise: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. It's set up for families, with a cot, highchair, and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a walk-in shower and grab rails in one bathroom.
