Cokaynes

Cokaynes is on the Harthill Hall estate near Alport. It's in the Peak District. The main thing to know is you're staying in a historic building that's part of a bigger group. It's not a standalone cottage.

It sleeps ten in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. Pets are allowed, up to three.

The estate has 14 acres of grounds. There's a heated indoor pool you can use, and a sauna and solarium. There's also a games room and a kids' play area outside. You can park on site and there's an electric vehicle charger.

Inside, it's got the things you'd expect. TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed.

You're about three and a half miles from Bakewell. There's a pub a mile away. For walks, you can start right from the door. The Peak District National Park site is useful for planning. Golf and horse riding are within five miles.

If you want to go out, Chatsworth House is close. So is Haddon Hall. A bit further out you've got places like Hardwick Hall, which is National Trust. The National Trust listings for Derbyshire have details.

The buildings are old. That means thick walls, stone floors, and low beams in some places. The stairs are typical for the age of the place. Just something to be aware of.
