Lindum Cottage is in Monyash, right in the Peak District. It's a two-bedroom end-terrace cottage. Sleeps four. One bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a comfortable, homely place. The living room has a wood burner, which is nice on a cold evening. The kitchen has what you need. There's a conservatory on the back which lets a lot of light in, and the door from there goes out to the enclosed garden. It's private, with a patio area.
The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
Monyash itself is a small village. There's a green with a pond, a café, and a pub. The pub does food. You can walk out from the cottage straight onto the footpaths. The High Peak Trail is close by. For a bigger walk or a drive, you're about five miles from Bakewell and nine from Buxton.
Chatsworth House is about a twenty-minute drive. Castleton, for the caves, is roughly half an hour. Alton Towers is about thirty-five minutes away if that's your sort of thing.
Included in the cottage: bed linen, towels, WiFi, TV, washing machine, highchair, and a travel cot. The garden is enclosed. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
