Lindum Cottage is in Monyash. It's a terrace cottage, right in the middle of the village.
It's a 4 Star place, sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, a double and a twin. One bathroom with a shower. It's not contemporary, it's more traditional. You'll know that from the photos.
The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need. There's a conservatory out the back where you can sit, and patio doors open onto the enclosed garden. It's private.
You can bring dogs, up to two.
In the village, there's a pub that does food and a cafe. There's a green with a duck pond. You're on the doorstep of the White Peak. Walking trails start from the village, like the Monsal Trail and the Limestone Way. You can drive to the National Trust places like the Longshaw Estate pretty easily.
Bakewell is about five miles, Buxton is nine. Chatsworth House is maybe 25 minutes by car. For something different, the caves at Castleton are close, and Alton Towers is about a 35 minute drive if that's your thing.
Facilities: Wifi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the street outside.
