The Old Cobblers Cottage
The Old Cobblers Cottage is in Bakewell. It's right in the town, on a side street, so you can walk to everything in about a minute, but it's quiet.
It's a one bedroom cottage, so it's just for two people. No pets. The rating is 4 Star. It's been done up nicely inside with a vintage feel. There's a wood burning stove, which is good when it's cold. The kitchen has what you need. The bathroom has a shower.
Outside, there's a small courtyard space that's just for you. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
Being in Bakewell means the pubs, shops, and cafes are on your doorstep. The famous pudding shop is a two minute walk. For a proper walk, you just head out of town. The Monsal Trail is very close. You can walk along the old railway line there.
Chatsworth House is about a ten minute drive. That's a full day out, with the house and gardens. You can also drive over to Castleton, or up to the High Peak for the views. It's all within half an hour.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. Heating and electricity are included in the price. There's no private parking, but there are car parks a short walk away.
