Rustic Barn
Rustic Barn is in Over Haddon, in the Peak District. It's part of a row of converted barns, so it's attached on one side. The main thing is the view: you’re right on the edge of Lathkill Dale. You look out over fields and the valley. It’s very quiet.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The kitchen is decent, it has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There’s parking right outside.
The stairs up to the bedrooms are a bit steep. It’s a barn conversion, so that’s just how they are.
You can take up to two dogs. We provide a highchair and a cot if you need them. Bedding is included.
You can walk straight out from the door onto the paths. Lathkill Dale is right there. There’s a pub about 200 yards away, it does good food. For shops, you’ll need to go into Bakewell. That’s two miles away. They’ve got the market there, and a supermarket.
For cycling, you can hire bikes a few miles away for the Monsal Trail. It’s a traffic-free old railway line. Chatsworth House is about five miles away. Haddon Hall is even closer. If you drive for half an hour or so, you can get to Carsington Water, or the caverns at Castleton.
