Wyedale is in Bakewell. It's a detached house across the road from the big recreation ground. Handy if you've got kids with energy to burn.
It sleeps twelve, with five bedrooms. All of them are en-suite, which is useful with a big group. Two of those bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with the main living room. The stairs aren't a problem, but it's worth knowing for less mobile people.
The kitchen has what you need for cooking for a crowd. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Outside, there's a decent patio with a BBQ and garden furniture.
Downstairs there's a games room. It's got a pool table. The top comes off and you can put a table tennis top on it instead. It's exactly what it sounds like.
You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on site, and there's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Bakewell town centre is about half a mile away. There are shops, pubs, and the famous pudding shops. The Monday market is good for local produce.
For days out, Chatsworth House is right on the doorstep. Haddon Hall is close too. The Monsal Trail starts in Bakewell, it's an old railway line you can walk or cycle along. Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham are about half an hour's drive.
