Right, the cottage is Wyedale. It's in Bakewell, over by the recreation ground. It's detached, so you won't have neighbours through the wall.
It sleeps twelve, in five bedrooms. They've all got their own bathroom, which makes things easier. Two of those bedrooms are on the ground floor, if stairs are a problem for anyone.
The living room is big. The kitchen has everything you need. Outside, there's a patio with furniture and a BBQ.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and modern, not old-fashioned.
There's a games room with a pool table that converts into table tennis. It's a decent size.
You're allowed two dogs. There's parking on site and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included.
You're about half a mile from the centre of Bakewell. Shops, pubs, the market. The local shop does the Bakewell puddings. The recreation ground opposite is handy if you've got kids or dogs.
The Monsal Trail starts nearby. Good for walking or cycling. Chatsworth House is about ten minutes by car. Haddon Hall is similar.
Further out, within half an hour or so, you've got the Hope Valley and Matlock, with the cable cars up to the Heights of Abraham. Buxton isn't far if you need a bigger town.
