Monameeth
Monameeth is in Monyash, on the edge of the White Peak. It's a bungalow, so all one floor, which is good if you don't fancy stairs. It's detached, with its own garden and parking.
It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an ensuite off the main bedroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's been renovated recently, so everything feels quite new and clean.
The kitchen is big. It's got a dining table in there that seats everyone. There's a dishwasher.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fenced but I wouldn't call it escape-proof for a really determined one.
The village has a shop and a pub. The pub, The Bull's Head, is about a three-minute walk. They do food. For a bigger shop, Bakewell is about a ten-minute drive. Buxton is about twenty minutes.
Walking from the door is easy. You're right on the Limestone Way. The Peak District National Park site has good maps. For a day out, Chatsworth House is about half an hour away. Dovedale and the stepping stones are similar.
Other things it's got: a TV, Wi-Fi, a BBQ, and storage for bikes. All the bedding and towels are included.
