This is Dovedale. It's one of three cottages at Sprink Farm, just outside Hartington village. They're converted barns. You get your own garden area.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is en-suite to a twin room. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The ceilings are beamed and the walls are exposed stone in places. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Hartington village is a short walk away. There are two pubs there and a very good cheese shop. You can get to the River Dove on foot. If you want to fish, the owners can sometimes arrange it, but you'd need to ask them.
You're right in the Peak District. You can walk for miles straight from the door. The Peak District National Park site has trail maps.
By car, Buxton and Bakewell are about twenty minutes. Ashbourne is about twenty-five. Matlock is maybe half an hour. All are market towns with their own things going on.
The facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The other two cottages here, Bodgers End and Ostlers End, can be booked together if you're a bigger group.
