Riverview Cottage

It's called Riverview Cottage in Hulme End. It's stone, built in the 1880s, and it's detached. You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed. French doors open out to it from the living room.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The Wi-Fi is fine for normal use.

You're right in the Peak District here. The Manifold Trail for walking or cycling starts practically at the door. The Tissington Trail is about two miles away, near Hartington. The Roaches are a 15 minute drive if you like climbing or a serious walk.

There's a pub 250 yards down the road. It's an old coaching inn. They do food. The closest shop is there too.

If you fancy a day out, Leek and Ashbourne are market towns about half an hour away. Buxton is too, with its opera house. Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Alton Towers are all within 30 minutes by car. Castleton is about 40 minutes.

Facilities: there's parking, an electric vehicle charger, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry. You can fish on the river here, it's free for guests.
