Throwley Cottage
Throwley Cottage is in Calton, Staffordshire. It's detached and sits on its own in a big field. Very quiet out here.
It sleeps seven, though that's with three beds in one room. You've got three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a shower downstairs, the other's a family bathroom upstairs with a bath. It's got a 4 Star rating now.
The garden is fenced, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's a bike rack. Inside, it's traditional. The stairs are a normal cottage staircase.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has a TV and an open fire you can use.
The nearest pub is about four miles away in Ilam. Ashbourne is your proper town for shops, that's about a fifteen minute drive.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District. Dovedale is very close for walks. The Peak District National Park site has walking and cycling trail maps. The Tissington and Manifold trails are good for bikes.
If you need a big day out, Alton Towers is about fifteen minutes by car.
We're on a working farm. You can take up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
