Pine Cottage is in Waterhouses, right on the edge of the Peak District. It’s one of a group of barns in a courtyard. It sleeps twelve, with four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which should help with that many people.
It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything works. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. You can bring two. The patio's a decent size for sitting out in the evening.
Inside, it's got what you need. There's a washing machine and dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
The location is the main thing. You're right by the Manifold Valley. There’s a really good traffic-free cycle trail there. You can hire bikes just down the road in Hulme End. The views are excellent.
A shop and a pub are about a mile away. The pubs in Waterhouses do food. For other things, Alton Towers is six miles from here, if that's your sort of day out.
You're well placed for the big sights. Dovedale is close. Chatsworth House is about half an hour's drive. Leek, Ashbourne, Matlock and Bakewell are all market towns within a easy drive. The Potteries are in the other direction if you fancy the factories.
