Pine Cottage
Pine Cottage is in Waterhouses, right on the edge of the Peak District. It's part of a courtyard of barns that have been converted. It sleeps twelve, which is good for a big family or two families sharing. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It means it's well-equipped and clean, but it's not a fancy show home. It's a solid, practical place for a group.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. You can bring two pets. There's parking right there.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The location is the main thing. You're a minute's drive from the Manifold Valley. The cycle trail there is very good, and you can hire bikes locally. Dovedale is close by for a walk. For a day out, Alton Towers is about six miles away.
Ashbourne, Leek, Matlock and Bakewell are all market towns within a half hour drive. Chatsworth House is about forty minutes away.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a mile down the road in Waterhouses itself.
