Mill Lea Cottage

Mill Lea Cottage is in Onecote, which is Staffordshire moorlands. It's a detached stone house. You come down a private drive to get to it. The views from there over the valley are very good.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One shower room is downstairs. The main bathroom upstairs has both a bath and a separate walk-in shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second has a double, and the third has two singles.

The kitchen and dining area are open plan and it's all been done to a high standard. There's a log burning stove in the sitting room. The garden is a good size and there's a stream at the bottom, but it's fenced off.

You're right at the edge of the Peak District here. It's walking and cycling country. The Derbyshire Dales and the Churnet Valley are close by. The town of Leek is about 10 minutes' drive, and Ashbourne is about 20. Both have the usual high street shops, cafes, and pubs.

Alton Towers theme park is a 15 minute drive, if that's your sort of thing.

For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for a few cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and a games room. We can provide a highchair. Sorry, no pets.
