Mill Lea Cottage

Mill Lea Cottage is in Onecote, which is in Staffordshire on the edge of the Peak District. It's a detached stone house. You come down the drive to it, with the valley all around. There's plenty of parking and the garden is a good size. There's a stream at the bottom of it, but it's fenced off.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms upstairs, all doubles. One has a king size bed, one a double, and the third has two singles. There are two bathrooms, one downstairs with a shower and one upstairs with a bath and a separate walk-in shower.

Downstairs, there's a sitting room with a wood burner. The kitchen and dining area are open plan and it's all been done to a high standard. It's got a 4 Star rating.

It's right on the doorstep of the Peak District National Park. The area is good for walking and cycling, around the Derrysire Dales and the Churnet Valley. The towns of Leek and Ashbourne are about a ten to twenty minute drive away. They've got the usual cafes, shops, and pubs.

Alton Towers is about fifteen minutes away by car if that's your sort of thing.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking. There's also a games room and WiFi. No pets, I'm afraid.
