The Barn
The Barn is in Mixon, Staffordshire. It's down a farm track, so it's quiet. You get views across the valley.
It's a barn conversion, sleeps ten. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, each with its own shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well-equipped, but it's a converted barn, so the ceilings are high and the rooms are big spaces, not cosy little rooms.
You can walk straight from the door. There are footpaths all around. The nearest pub is about two miles away in Waterhouses. The shop is four miles.
Alton Towers is about ten minutes away by car. So are the Foxfield Steam Railway and Froghall Wharf, which is nice for a stroll by the canal. Waterworld is about twenty minutes drive if you've got kids that need to burn off energy.
For a proper day out, Chatsworth House is within half an hour. So are places like Sudbury Hall and the Gladstone Pottery Museum.
In terms of stuff here: it has a dishwasher and washing machine, there's on-site parking, and bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. No pets.
