Heath View is in Cheddleton, Staffordshire. It's attached to our farmhouse, so we're next door if you need anything. The place sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are upstairs and each has its own shower room.
It's a 4 Star place. The ceilings are quite high and the staircase is a proper farmhouse one, so the steps are a bit steep. Something to be aware of. The main room is a good size and has a wood burner. There's a modern kitchen and a utility room with a washing machine.
Outside, there's a garden and a patio with seating. It looks out over fields. It's a quiet spot.
The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away, in the village. Leek is a ten minute drive. It's a market town with antique shops, supermarkets, and places to eat.
If you like walking, you can get straight onto footpaths from the door. The Peak District National Park isn't far. The Roaches, which is popular with climbers, is about ten miles away. Rudyard Lake is eight miles for sailing or a walk. Alton Towers is within ten miles if that's your sort of thing. Stoke-on-Trent, for the Potteries museums, is also close.
For a day out, National Trust places like Chatsworth are within driving distance.
Facilities wise: it has parking, WiFi, a TV, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but because it's an old farmhouse, the internal stairs might be a problem for some. No pets, sorry.
