Tranquillity

Tranquillity is in Endon, just outside Stoke on Trent. It's a converted stable block, done up in 2022. You're right out in the countryside here, with about twelve acres of woodland around you.

It sleeps four, but it's all in one open-plan space. One bedroom area, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a high standard. The whole place is on the ground floor.

There's a wood burner for colder nights. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to three pets. There's parking right outside.

The local pub, which does food, is less than a mile away. There's a shop about the same distance. The walk back from there is up a steep hill, so bear that in mind.

You can walk straight out from the door into the woods and fields. You'll need proper boots, especially in wet weather as it can get muddy. There's access to the next field as well.

Leek is about a 15-minute drive for bigger shops and places to eat. The Caldon Canal is close by for flat walking or cycling. Rudyard Lake is good for a stroll or you can hire boats there.

For a day out, the Peak District National Park starts a few miles to the northeast. Alton Towers is about half an hour away by car.

Inside, it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
