Lake Cottage
This is Lake Cottage. It's single storey, so everything's on the ground floor. Sleeps two. It’s one of a few cottages on the same estate here at Lask Edge.
It’s got a wood burner. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower. Towels and bedding are included. There’s parking right outside.
You get shared use of some estate facilities. There’s an indoor pool you can book a slot in, a hot tub, and a fishing lake on site if you fancy it. The gardens are large and you’re welcome to use them.
The location is quiet. You’re on the edge of the Peak District. For a big day out, Alton Towers is about 20 minutes away by car. Biddulph Grange Garden, which is National Trust, is also close. For wider planning, the Peak District National Park site is useful.
Leek town is a short drive. It’s got shops and pubs. For a longer trip, Bakewell or Chatsworth are within half an hour’s drive.
