Heritage Wharf is in Scholar Green. It's a canal-side house, detached, looking out over the Macclesfield Canal. You can see fields on the other side.
It sleeps eleven people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. Space is the main thing here, it's not high-end but it's comfortable. It's a house.
There's a fenced patio and garden, which is handy. The stairs are fine, no different than a normal house.
You're right on the canal. There's day boat hire and fishing within a minute's walk, literally next to the house. A small shop at the boatyard too.
The village pub is about 200 yards away. They do food. A village shop is about three quarters of a mile.
Little Moreton Hall, that tudor place with the wonky walls, is just a mile up the road. Congleton town is five miles for supermarkets and that.
You're about ten miles from the edge of the Peak District. The Potteries, with the factories and shops, are about eight miles. Alton Towers is twenty miles, so about forty minutes depending on traffic.
Other places within half an hour or so: Quarry Bank Mill, Tatton Park, Jodrell Bank. Chester Zoo is about forty minutes' drive.
What's here: parking on site, a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
