The Flat is in Congleton, Cheshire. It's on the same site as our house, but it's a self-contained space with its own entrance. You'll see our house, but you'll have complete privacy.
It sleeps six, but it's two bedrooms and one bathroom. So groups need to be happy sharing. The rating is 3 Star, so it's clean and serviceable.
There's a patio area with some outdoor furniture. It gets the sun in the morning. Parking is right outside the door.
Inside, it's a simple layout. The living area has a sofa, a TV, and the dining table. The kitchen has what you'd need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi is included.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a field right next door for quick walks. For longer ones, the Macclesfield Canal towpath is about a ten-minute walk away. Congleton town centre is a mile and a half down the road. It's got the usual supermarkets, a few decent pubs that do food, and some independent shops.
If you're driving, you're in a good spot. The Peak District National Park boundary is about 15 minutes away. You can be up on The Roaches or around Tittesworth Reservoir quickly. Peak District National Park.
For days out, Little Moreton Hall is close by, that's a National Trust timber-framed manor house. Jodrell Bank is about 20 minutes drive if you're into that. Manchester and Chester are both around an hour by car, or you can get the train from Congleton station.
The facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. There's no extra charge for electricity.
