Drumble Lodge is on a farm at the end of a country lane near Congleton Edge. It's detached, so it's just you. It's quiet out here. You'll hear birds during the day and owls at night.
The lodge sleeps five. It's got two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
It's on a working farm that hosts weddings, so there might be a small gathering sometimes. There are pet sheep and goats in the paddock next to you, and cows grazing in the fields.
You can sit outside in a couple of different spots. I've left a telescope out there for looking at the stars. The WiFi is good, it's a Sky link with 200 megabits per second.
There's a pub about a ten minute walk away. They do food and they're fine with dogs. Lots of footpaths start from around here if you want to walk.
Congleton town is about ten minutes by car. It's got supermarkets, shops, and places to eat.
You're close to a few National Trust places. Biddulph Grange Garden and Little Moreton Hall are about ten minutes away. You can walk up to Mow Cop Castle from here, or along the River Dane.
The Peak District is roughly half an hour's drive. Manchester is under an hour away by train from Congleton station.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
