Dairy House Farm is here in Horton, Staffordshire. It's a working farm, so if you look out of the windows you'll see fields and animals. The house itself is old, 17th century, and Grade II listed. It's detached and has its own garden and plenty of parking.
It sleeps twelve people. There are six bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main thing about it. Two of the bedrooms have four-poster beds. Up on the top floor, two of the bedrooms are connected by a door and have their own private entrance from outside, which is handy if someone wants to come and go separately.
The stairs are quite steep in places, it's that sort of old house. You'll see beams and stone walls. There's a hot tub in the garden. The view from there is across open countryside.
You're a couple of miles from Rudyard Lake. You can walk around it, or go boating. There's a cafe and restaurant there too. The market town of Leek is about ten minutes by car. It's got cobbles and proper shops, pubs, and places to eat.
You're close to the edge of the Peak District. For a day out, Alton Towers is about half an hour away. So is the World of Wedgwood and the Emma Bridgewater factory if you're into that. Peak Wildlife Park is about twenty minutes.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's a BBQ in the garden. No pets, I'm afraid.
