Serenity
This is Serenity. It's a converted stable block near Stoke on Trent, done up in 2022. There are two of these cottages next to each other on the same site.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating so everything is new and works properly. It's all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
The place is in the middle of about twelve acres of fields and woodland. It's very quiet. You get your own enclosed garden with a patio. There's a wood burner for cold nights and a BBQ you can use. The living space is open plan.
There's a village shop and a couple of pubs that do food, all less than a mile away. Endon and Stockton Brook are the nearest villages. The Caldon Canal is right there for walking or cycling by the water.
For a day out, Leek is about fifteen minutes by car. It's a market town with shops and places to eat. The Peak District starts a short drive to the northeast. Rudyard Lake is good for a walk or if you want to try some watersports. Alton Towers is half an hour away if that's your sort of thing.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs. The other cottage next door can be booked at the same time if you're coming with another couple.
