The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory is in Leek. It's a big detached house that sleeps sixteen. Eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped.

The main thing is it works for a big group. There's a large kitchen with an island, plenty of fridge space and two dishwashers. It opens into a dining area. There's a utility room for boots and coats, and a washing machine.

There's a big living room with a wood burner and TV, a separate dining room, and a games room with a pool table.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, except two on the top floor which share one and have an interconnecting door. That's useful for a small family.

The garden is enclosed. There's a long outdoor table, a barbecue, and a seven-seater hot tub.

Leek is a market town on the edge of the Peak District. Good walks nearby include The Roaches and the Manifold Valley. Alton Towers is about a twenty-minute drive away.

For attractions, the Peak Wildlife Park and Trentham Estate are within half an hour. The Monkey Forest is part of the Trentham Estate.

You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
