The Stable
The Stable is an old barn we converted. It's just outside Mixon, on our farm land. You get your own building. It's quiet and the views are good.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one bathroom en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The space is open plan downstairs. Kitchen, sitting area, dining table. It's all one room. The stairs go up to the bedroom, they're normal stairs.
You're in the Peak District National Park. You can walk straight out the door onto footpaths. Peak District National Park has maps and information.
Froghall Wharf and the Foxfield Steam Railway are about ten minutes away by car. Alton Towers is the same. For a day out, Chatsworth House is maybe half an hour's drive. Chatsworth.
The local shop is four miles away. The nearest pub is two miles.
Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. The heating and electricity are included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's parking right outside. There's a BBQ for when the weather's good.
