Swallow Cottage

Swallow Cottage is one of three cottages here at Broomshaw Farm. It's just off the main road, so it's quiet. The views out of every window are all countryside.

It sleeps six, but in two bedrooms. One's a double. The other has a double bed and a set of bunk beds, so it's a family room. There's one bathroom upstairs.

Downstairs is a sitting room with a TV and one of those electric woodburner stoves for background heat. The kitchen has a table to eat at. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean without being luxurious.

Outside, you get your own bit of patio with benches. It gets the sun in the afternoon.

You can walk straight out from the door. The Peak District National Park website has good walking routes. Alton Towers is about four miles away, which is handy if that's what you're here for. Leek and Ashbourne are the nearest towns for shops.

Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
