Swallow Cottage
Swallow Cottage is on Broomshaw Farm in Winkhill. It's one of three cottages here, set back from the road. It's quiet.
The cottage sleeps six, but in two bedrooms. There's a double room, and then a family room with another double bed and a set of bunk beds. One bathroom upstairs. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxury.
Downstairs is a sitting room with a TV and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. The kitchen has a table to eat at. The views out of every window are just fields and countryside. You have your own bit of outside space with benches. It gets the sun.
The farm has a friendly feel. The other cottages are Meadow and Stable Cottage, if you were coming with more people.
You can walk straight out from the door. For a big day out, Alton Towers is about four miles away. The market towns of Leek and Ashbourne are a short drive. The Peak District is all around you.
Facilities are what you'd need: wifi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
