Meadow Cottage
Meadow Cottage is part of Broomshaw Farm, up a track off the road. It's the biggest of the three we've got here. It's quiet, you won't get passing traffic.
The cottage sleeps six, with three bedrooms. There's a double room, a single room, and one room with a double and a single bed together. Just the one bathroom, upstairs. Downstairs there's the sitting room with a dining table, a TV, and one of those electric stoves that looks like a wood burner. The kitchen has what you need. The views from the windows are all across fields.
The stairs are standard cottage stairs. Fine, but a bit steep.
We're in Winkhill. Leek is about ten minutes by car for supermarkets and things. Ashbourne is maybe twenty minutes. For a big day out, Alton Towers is just down the road, about four miles. You can walk straight from the door into the countryside, no need to drive.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are provided, and there's a washing machine. WiFi works, but it's countryside broadband so don't expect to stream on five devices at once.
