Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is in Winkhill, up near Leek. It’s part of a little group of three cottages on a farm. Ours is all on the ground floor.

It sleeps four. There's one bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed in it, so it’s a family room. One shower room. It's rated 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not luxury, but it's got what you need.

The living room has a table, chairs, a sofa and a TV. The kitchen is basic but fine. You get a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are there. Wi-fi works.

Outside, you get your own little patio area with a bench. It catches the sun. The views out of every window are just fields. It’s very quiet. There’s parking right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. There’s a Shetland pony on the farm called Elliott, he's friendly.

You can walk straight out from the cottage into the countryside. Leek town is about ten minutes’ drive for shops. Ashbourne is maybe twenty minutes. The main thing people ask about is Alton Towers, which is only about four miles away.
