Yelt Cottage is near Wootton, in Staffordshire. It's a little detached place, a proper single-storey cottage but with the bedroom upstairs in the roof. It's for two people.
You come in through the kitchen area. It's got a small fridge-freezer, a microwave that also works as an oven, and a couple of hot rings. That's all there really is to it. Through there is the living room, which feels a bit bigger. There's a sofa, a TV, one of those electric fires that looks a bit like coal, and French doors. The shower room is off there too.
The bedroom is upstairs. It's a double. It's in the roof space, so watch your head. The ceiling is low in parts.
Outside, there's a small patio with a little bistro table and chairs. It gets the sun in the morning.
The location is the main thing. You're right on the edge of the Peak District. You absolutely need a car. Dovedale and the stepping stones are about ten minutes away. Good walking from there, or at Tissington or the Manifold Valley.
Within half an hour you can get to a few things. Carsington Water is close for sailing or walking. Chatsworth House is about twenty minutes. For a full day out, Alton Towers is literally down the road, maybe ten minutes.
There's a pub less than a mile away. A local shop is about two miles. The nearest proper town is Ashbourne, which has shops and places to eat.
Facilities are what you'd expect for a 3 Star: WiFi, TV, parking right outside, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
