Doves Nest

Doves Nest is a detached house just outside Ashbourne town centre. It sleeps ten, across five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, two of which are en-suites.

The house has a 4 Star rating. It's modern and spacious. The downstairs is mostly open plan, with big doors that open onto the garden. There's a separate utility room which is good for muddy boots and coats after being out walking. Underfloor heating throughout.

The garden is a good size, mostly lawn with a patio area right outside the doors. There's parking on site.

It's quiet where it is, but you can walk into Ashbourne in about fifteen minutes. There are shops, supermarkets, pubs, and a few places to eat. The nearest pub is about three-quarters of a mile away.

For getting out, you're right on the edge of the Peak District. Dovedale and its stepping stones are a very short drive. The Tissington Trail is excellent for walking and cycling. Carsington Water is nearby for walks or water sports. Alton Towers is about fifteen minutes by car.

We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a Smart TV, dishwasher, and washing machine.
