Hall Farm Bungalow is in Shirley, which is a small village right on the edge of the Peak District. It's a modern bungalow, so everything's on one level. That makes it easier if you don't want stairs.
You've got your own garden out the front. It's neat and tidy, with a bit of a patio area.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. We had it all redecorated a few years ago, so it feels fresh. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean.
The village pub is about a five minute walk away. It's a proper local. They do food. For any bigger shopping, you'll need to drive to Ashbourne. That's about four miles. It's a nice market town with decent shops and places to eat.
You're really well placed here for the Peak District. Dove Dale and the Manifold Valley are on your doorstep for walking. Carsington Water is close by if you're into sailing or windsurfing. And if you've got kids, or if you're just a big kid yourself, Alton Towers is only about twenty minutes in the car.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a TV, parking right outside, and all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
