Hall Farm Bungalow is on the edge of Shirley village. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level which is handy. There's a garden that goes with it, it's quite neat and you can sit out there.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's all been decorated quite recently so it feels fresh. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is fine. It's clean and comfortable.
The pub is a few minutes walk away. They do food. The closest shop for basics is about four miles away in Ashbourne, so you'll want to drive for a proper shop.
We're right on the southern edge of the Peak District National Park. You can walk straight into the countryside from the door. Dove Dale and the Manifold Valley are really nice for walks and are a short drive. Carsington Water is nearby if you want sailing or windsurfing.
Ashbourne is a nice market town about ten minutes by car. Alton Towers is about twenty minutes away if that's your sort of thing.
Facilities: there's parking right by the bungalow, a washing machine, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. It can be decorated for Christmas if you book over that period.
