The Garden House
The Garden House is in Atlow, Derbyshire. It's made from an old barn next to our house. You have your own south-facing garden and you can also walk in our bigger grounds.
It sleeps four, but all in one room upstairs. It's one big bedroom with a double bed and two singles. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It’s comfortable and clean.
Because it's an old building, the stairs are quite steep. The doorways are a bit low in places too.
We're about two miles from a shop and a couple of pubs. Carsington Water is very close, maybe a mile and a half. You can walk, cycle, or sail there. The Tissington Trail is good for cycling.
Ashbourne is a ten-minute drive for supermarkets and other shops. Dovedale and Ilam Park are about fifteen minutes away. Kedleston Hall is also nearby. If you've got kids, Alton Towers is half an hour or so.
For facilities, there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and towels are included. We can put out a cot and highchair. You can have a barbecue. We allow up to two dogs.
