The Creamery
The Creamery is in Kniveton, which is about three miles from Ashbourne. It's an old stone barn, converted. We did it up a few years ago. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and everything works.
It sleeps three, but it's all in one bedroom. There's a king size bed and a single. One bathroom. The ceiling is beamed, so mind your head in a couple of places. It’s next to our house, but you’ve got your own front door and the garden is yours.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring two. There's bike storage if you need it.
There's a pub about a five minute walk away. A restaurant just over a mile. The shop is in Ashbourne, three miles.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District. For a walk, Dovedale is three miles away. Carsington Water is about four miles if you want to go sailing or something. For a day out, Chatsworth House, Bakewell, and Buxton are all within a half hour drive.
It has Wi-Fi, a washing machine, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one.
