Valley View Barn
Valley View Barn is in Bradbourne, which is on the edge of the Peak District. It's a big, detached barn conversion. It's good for a family get-together or a group of friends.
It sleeps fourteen, in seven bedrooms. There are five bathrooms which helps with a group that size. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main living area is open plan with oak beams and stone walls, so it feels spacious.
You're right on the Tissington Trail, so you can walk or cycle from the door. We're about half a mile from Bradbourne village itself, but you're high up on a ridge here. The garden is enclosed and looks out over the valley.
Dovedale and Ilam are only five minutes away by car. That's good for a classic walk by the river, or exploring the caves.
Ashbourne is a market town about ten minutes drive. It's got decent shops and a few supermarkets if you need them. The nearest pub and restaurant is about two miles away.
Further afield, you can get to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, or Bakewell in about twenty-five minutes. Carsington Water is close for water sports. For a big day out, Alton Towers is within half an hour.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair if needed. A hot tub is available, but you need to arrange that in advance. No pets sorry.
