Foxglove is a shepherds hut on a field edge near the village of Bradbourne. It's part of a small site with another hut, Forget-Me-Not. They're identical really. You can book both together if you're a group of four or more.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a double bed and a bunk bed above it, so it sleeps four. That's the one bedroom, I suppose. It's compact, but they've done a good job fitting everything in. There's a shower room, a little kitchen corner with an oven and hob, a small fridge, and a table. It's got electric heating, WiFi, and a TV. Everything's clean and modern. The 4 Star rating means it's well kitted out.
Outside you've got your own bit of patio with a table and chairs. There's a barbecue and a firepit too. You look out over the fields. It's fully enclosed so it's fine for a dog. The parking is right there.
Bradbourne itself is tiny. Parwich is the nearest proper village, about a mile away. It's got a shop that sells basics and a good pub. Ashbourne is five miles off for bigger shops.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Peak District. The Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail are very close, maybe ten minutes in the car. They're great for easy, flat walks or cycling. Dovedale and the stepping stones are a must, about a fifteen minute drive. It gets busy on nice weekends.
Further afield, Carsington Water is about twenty minutes. You can do sailing or windsurfing there. Alton Towers is also around twenty minutes if that's your thing.
Facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's bike storage if you need it.
