This is Bankside, in Parwich. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You get two bedrooms, both exactly the same size, each with its own shower room. It sleeps four, two doubles.
It's a five star place, which means it's well-finished. The kitchen's good. The living area has those big bi-fold doors. They look out over the rooftops towards the fields. There's a wood burner for winter. Outside, there's a patio with seating.
Parwich is quiet. It's an old village with a green, a church, and a pub. The pub, The Sycamore, does food and also acts as the village shop. It's about a two minute walk.
For walking, the Manifold Trail is right there. It follows an old railway line, so it's fairly flat and good for bikes too. Carsington Water is about 15 minutes by car if you want sailing or a walk round the reservoir. Alton Towers is maybe 25 minutes away. Chatsworth House is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: it's all included. WiFi, TV, bedding, towels, washing machine. There's parking on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
