Bankside is in Parwich, in the Derbyshire Peak District. It's a detached stone cottage. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. That's handy.
It's been done up to a high standard. It's comfortable and everything's new, but it still feels like a cottage. The kitchen is well-equipped. The main room has big doors that open up, and you look out over the village roofs to the fields beyond. There's a wood burner for colder days.
Outside, there's a patio with seating. It gets the sun in the evening.
The village is quiet. There's a pub on the green that does food and also acts as the local shop. The church and a playground are right there. Good for walks straight from the door. The Manifold Trail is close by for cycling or a flat walk.
You're well placed here. Alton Towers is about a 25 minute drive. Chatsworth House is maybe 20 minutes. Carsington Water is about 15 minutes away for sailing or a walk. The market town of Ashbourne is ten minutes down the road.
Facilities: everything's included like WiFi, bedding, and parking for one car. There's a washing machine. You can bring one dog. It's rated 5 Star, which means it's high spec.
