Pinfold Cottage
Pinfold Cottage is in Elton in Derbyshire. It's a stone cottage, detached, on the edge of the village. It sleeps two in one bedroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kept and comfortable. The main thing is it's been renovated nicely. The stone fireplace in the lounge has a wood burning stove. The stairs from the lounge up to the bedroom are original stone, so they're a bit uneven. Just watch your step.
The kitchen is in a vaulted extension. It gets the sun in the late afternoon. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a small toilet on the ground floor too.
The bedroom is upstairs, also vaulted. It has a king size bed and its own shower room. A glazed door leads out to a decked veranda. That looks out over fields. It's a quiet spot.
The garden is enclosed. There's a local pub in the village, a few minutes' walk away.
You're in a good spot here for the Peak District. Bakewell is about ten minutes by car. Chatsworth House is maybe fifteen minutes. Haddon Hall is close by too. For walks, you can drive into the national park easily from here.
Facilities are all included: WiFi, bedding, towels, electricity. No pets.
