Keepsake View

Keepsake View is a bungalow in Darley Dale. It's all on one floor and it's got a 4 Star rating. It sleeps six in three double bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room.

The main thing is the view. It looks out over the Derwent Valley towards Oker Hill. It's a proper panorama. There's a living room with a wood burner for colder nights, and a conservatory to sit in and look at the view. The garden is enclosed.

The stairs thing isn't an issue here, because it's a bungalow. There's parking on site. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. We take one well-behaved dog.

The local Co-op, petrol station, a couple of cafes and a bar are about a ten minute walk. There's a pub about 400 yards away that does food. Matlock is two miles off for more shops and restaurants.

You're right on the edge of the Peak District. For walking, you can drive to Curbar Edge in about 20 minutes. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are about a 15 minute drive each. Matlock Bath is four miles away, that's where the Heights of Abraham cable cars and Gulliver's Kingdom are. Carsington Water is close by for sailing and cycling.

Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. Bicycle storage is there too.
