This is South Carolina Farm House, just outside Tansley village in Derbyshire. It's a detached stone house. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a nice, comfortable place.
The main living area is all open plan. Kitchen, dining, and sitting room are all together. There's a log burner. The kitchen has an island you can sit at. The stairs lead up to a glass walkway that goes over the living area to get to the bedrooms. It's a nice feature.
One bathroom has a free-standing bath and a separate shower. Outside, there's a courtyard with seating and parking on the drive.
You can walk straight from the house into the countryside. The walk to Lumsdale Falls is popular. It's an old mill site with waterfalls, really interesting. Good for cycling from the door too, if you bring bikes.
Tansley has a local pub. Matlock Bath is about ten minutes away by car. It's a quirky place along the river. They've got the Heights of Abraham cable car there, and chip shops. The illuminations in autumn are a big event.
You're close to a lot from here. Bakewell is about twenty minutes drive. Chatsworth House is maybe twenty-five minutes. The Peak District National Park is right on your doorstep.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to three dogs.
