Holly Cottage is in Handley, which is on the edge of the Peak District. It's a converted stone barn that sits on our livery yard, so you'll see horses in the fields out front. The outlook is over the hills.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The living room has patio doors that open onto your own patio.
It's a quiet spot. The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. The pub does food.
You're well placed for the Peak District. Chatsworth House is about a 20-minute drive. Bakewell is maybe 25 minutes. For a walk, you can be at Curbar Edge in 15 minutes. Castleton and its caves are a similar distance.
For planning trips, the Peak District National Park site is useful. So is National Trust Peak District for their properties and walks.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's worth noting the bathroom and bedrooms are upstairs.
