Holly Cottage is in Handley. It's a semi-detached place, converted from a stone barn on a livery yard. It looks out over fields. You get the whole garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The layout is open plan downstairs, with patio doors leading to the patio.
Because it's a barn conversion, the doorways and one of the toilets are wheelchair accessible. Just so you know, the main bathroom is upstairs. The stairs are there, and they're fine, but they are a standard cottage staircase.
You're on a working livery yard, so you'll see horses in the fields. It's generally quiet, but you might hear the occasional tractor or horse box. The local pub is about a mile down the lane.
You're right on the edge of the Peak District. For walking, the Peak District National Park site has maps and routes. Chatsworth House is about a 25 minute drive. So is Haddon Hall. Buxton, with the theatre and the pavilion gardens, is about half an hour away.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. You can bring up to two dogs.
