Stone Cottage
Stone Cottage is in Wingerworth, on the edge of Chesterfield. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
You come into an open plan room with the kitchen, a sofa, and a table. It's a decent size. The French doors open onto a small patio and a lawned garden at the back, which is all yours. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The bedroom is upstairs. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep. The bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It has a walk-in shower.
There's a local pub you can walk to. The village has a network of footpaths right from the doorstep, including through Sutcliffe Woods and past the old Wingerworth Lido.
For a day out, Chesterfield with its crooked spire is about ten minutes away by car. You're well placed for the Peak District. Chatsworth House is roughly twenty minutes' drive. Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle are about the same. Carsington Water is good for a walk, maybe half an hour away.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a TV, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
