The Hollies
The Hollies is a detached cottage in Slack, near Tansley. It's in our garden, but it's all yours while you're there. It sleeps two.
It's got one bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well kept. Everything's on one level, so no stairs.
You park on the drive and walk down a short path to the front door. There's a decked area with chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a sofa, a TV, a dining table, and a kitchen with a dishwasher. The bedroom has fitted wardrobes. WiFi is included, and so are bedding and towels.
You can bring one dog. There's a local pub a short walk away.
Matlock is about two miles away for shops and places to eat. For walks, the Derbyshire Dales are right on the doorstep. The Peak District National Park website has good information.
Within half an hour you can get to places like Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath. The High Peak Trail is close by for cycling.
If you're looking for historical sites, Hardwick Hall is about a 25-minute drive.
