Number 10 is a terraced cottage in Matlock. It's on a street that backs onto a park. You can see the river Derwent from the bedrooms.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan, with a wood burning stove. There's a small, walled patio area out the back with a gate that leads into the main garden by the river.
The stairs are steep. They're original. You get used to them.
The town centre is about a five minute walk through the park. There's a shop and a pub about 200 yards away. The pub serves food. Matlock Bath is the next village along the river. It's got amusement arcades and fish and chip shops. It's a bit old-fashioned. People seem to like it.
You're on the edge of the Peak District here. For walking, you can pick up paths straight from the door. The High Peak Trail for cycling is a couple of miles south. For a day out, Chatsworth House is about twenty minutes by car. So is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. Bakewell is about the same distance.
Included in the cottage: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. The wood for the stove is provided. Sorry, no pets.
